Black Tie!
For Ladies, this means bright colors, prints, and what makes you feel confident and powerful along the beautiful lake. Long dresses are perfect. If not a long dress, drama is key! We adore a chic suit as well. Please no white or white with patterns. We will be outdoors for the ceremony and dinner so we recommend a shawl for the evening. Late night dancing will be inside - you are welcome to change into your dancing shoes or slip in to something more comfortable to dance the night away. (we are bringing a change of comfy clothes and tennis shoes to dance all night!)
For the Men, while we love and HIGHLY recommend a tuxedo, if it is hot, by all means dress in what makes you comfortable to have a lovely evening. A fine, fun, bright out of this world suit will do the job! Please no light grey or light blue. Start the evening with a tie and you know it’s a good time when the tie comes off!
We plan to change into comfy clothes by midnight, so feel free to do the same. Bring a bag with your name on it, we will store it in the Villa and we can all change for comfy dance time.

Yes! All guests are invited to join us for the welcome dinner at Lido di Lenno.
-
The welcome dinner will be at Lido de Lenno in Lenno Lake Como. It is a private beach club on the sand along the lake. Please wear La Dolce Vita Attire - we encourage jewel tones such as green, blue, ruby red, and even fun patterns too! This is your night to be loud and fabulous, Italian style. Fabrics such as linen or lace are perfect, just no jeans please. We will be there during sunset so we recommend a jacket for when the sun goes down.
Ladies, we recommend sandals or wedges since we will be on the sand.
-
The entirety of the welcome dinner will take place outside.
-
The average high during the day in September is 80° with lows at night being 65°. Note, Lake Como is located in the northernmost part of Italy and can see vast changes in weather. We recommend bringing layers as well as clothes for both warm and cold weather, including rain.
-
If possible, we recommend staying between the towns of Lenno and Tremezzo as this is where all of the wedding activities will take place. You can find a list of hotel recommendations here. There are also many accommodations available through Airbnb.
-
It depends on your itinerary. For the Welcome Dinner and Wedding, we have arranged private transfer for all guests, both to and from each event.
Getting around by taxi in Lake Como is not easy and Uber does not operate in the Lake Como region.
That said, the ferry system is fabulous and you can hop from town to town via ferry or water taxi.
If your accommodation is where we recommended, you will be able to walk to cafes and ferry stops easily.
